Bio

A two-sport star for the Storm in soccer and softball, Winegard is a two-time all-conference defender on the pitch and a first team all-region outfielder on the diamond. She is a three-year letterwinner in soccer and helps stablize one of the best back lines in the league alongside fellow seniors Kara Lovik and Megan Petersen.

2011 (junior)
Started all 21 games ... named honorable mention all-conference ... tallied one assist and took two shots ... helped anchor a Simpson defense which ranked third in the Iowa Conference in goals against average (1.17) and shutouts (10) ... earned a varsity letter ... in softball, led the Iowa Conference with a .452 batting average on the way to second team all-conference and first team all-region honors as an outfielder ... named Simpson's female athlete of the Year.

2010 (sophomore)
Appeared in and started 18 of Simpson's 19 games ... named honorable mention all-conference ... tallied one assist ... earned a varsity letter ... as a member of the softball team, appeared in 28 games ... hit .341 with five doubles.
